As is tradition, we’re glad to welcome Belgian students from HOWEST University of Applied Sciences. This year, not one, but two students joined our team last month, Marit Van Assche and Ward Valcke, to do a 4-month internship for the end of their Licence 3.
Marit will be working on the detection of PTMs on histone proteins by mass spectrometry, and Ward will be working on detection of clinical biomarkers using immunoassay techniques.
This week, they were shadowed by three other students who are doing their License 2 and are currently exploring the work field.
We’re happy to see so much interest in our laboratory!
