Last week we were happy to welcome two new interns Salomé and Michelle, who will be part of our team for the upcoming time.
Salomé Coppens is a M2 BIOTIN student. She will stay six months to work the development of a method of detection and localization of RNA modifications inside oligonucleosides. To do so, she will work particularly on the QTOF and MALDI-TOF systems.
Michelle Duyck is a Belgian student from HOWEST University of Applied Sciences (Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen) who will be joining us during four months. Her internship at the end of her bachelor’s degree focuses on the quantification of the biomarker orexin in the pathology of narcolepsy. Detection will be done by fractionation via HPLC as well as by high-resolution mass spectrometry (QTOF). T
