She will stay six months to work the development of a method of detection and localization of RNA modifications inside oligonucleosides. To do so, she will work particularly on the QTOF and MALDI-TOF systems. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ppc-montpellier.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Salom%C3%A9-Coppens.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"401\" height=\"267\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Michelle Duyck<\/strong> is a Belgian student from HOWEST University of Applied Sciences (Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen) who will be joining us during four months. Her internship at the end of her bachelor&#8217;s degree focuses on the quantification of the biomarker orexin in the pathology of narcolepsy. Detection will be done by fractionation via HPLC as well as by high-resolution mass spectrometry (QTOF).
